Description
I've been using 0.18 for more than half a year, and recently upgraded to the
new version on the Market - only to find out that I could no longer access my
preferences (Android 2.3.6 on a Galaxy 551). No device selection, no cookies,
so I went back to my backup of 0.18 for now. (How to debug this situation?)
I found out that - probably due to memory limitations of the old phone, GPX
generation was interrupted in mid-sentence (the last few characters in the file
were "<spee", and Locus severly hiccupped).
Apparently also the bin file was incomplete - luckily I had made another
(complete) copy with my tablet running 4.x (and sporting lots of free memory).
As such a situation could lead to serious data loss (to be worked around by
just downloading the bin stuff, and letting BT747 do the hard work later), it
would be good to know whether the download (and conversion) actually reached
100%.
What about an option to _later_ create GPX from a bin file already in memory
(to save the additional PC work, and proceed with e.g. Locus)?
