How can VC prevent double-spending attack?

A user can copy and paste the VC to a local disk, and after transferring VC to another user or a service delete the VC in the SoLiD POD, user can paster the VC back to his POD, pretended the VC is not spent.

I'm thinking if VC can be something like the Token ( especially NFT ) in the etherium.
