Limit the number of characters typed

Hello,
More of a suggestion than an issue.

*Limit the number of characters that can be typed. ie. numCharacters = 1000.
*Expose the number of characters typed. So it can be displayed in real time to the user. (observable/published).

You can currently limit the character count by implementing the shouldChange closure.
The character count can be a derived publisher based on the text binding.
