• The install command in internal/cli/install.go currently always installs CRDs as part of the install flow — there is no flag to control this. It calls applyManifests(ctx, dc, dyn, manifests.InstallCRD) unconditionally.
• The uninstall command similarly always deletes CRDs unconditionally via deleteManifests(ctx, dc, dyn, manifests.InstallCRD).
• The install command has flags --dry-run, --version, and --image-pull-policy, but no --crd flag.
• The uninstall command has no flags at all.
• No merged PRs or commits reference this issue or introduce a --crd flag.
• The CRD and controller manifests are cleanly separated into manifests.InstallCRD and manifests.InstallController, so adding a --crd flag to conditionally include/exclude CRD application is straightforward.

Recommendation: KEEP OPEN — This is a valid feature request. CRDs define custom resource types and deleting them cascades to all custom resources in the cluster, so giving users explicit control over CRD install/uninstall is a reasonable safety measure. The codebase already separates CRD and controller manifests, making implementation straightforward.
