Finger rotations

In the test scene Ethan's fingers are twisted. Screenshots attached.

I know this could happen, but I wonder why this doesn't happen for some people. Possibly depending on the version of Axis or Unity?

@pancur Could you provide information about which version of Axis/Unity you're using?

Thank you for quick answer.
I was using Axis Neuron 3.5.24.2740 and Unity 5.3.5.
Today I updated to newest: Axis 3.6.32 and Unity 5.5. Still the same.

It's from default recordings "29N in Tristan's Office 2" frame 359. Can you check how it looks like with your setting?

This didn't show up before I made a PR for the fingers to be tracked for this SDK.

I'm pretty sure the thumb being warped is caused by the Ethan model not having great thumb rigging for use by Perception Neuron, at least as far as I could configure it.

This is one of the better rigged hands I could find on the Unity asset store, this is probably nearly the ideal pose for fingers.

Ethan's fingers are a bit curled so they're going to introduce some issues - I don't think this is necessarily the main issue, I think it mostly has to do with the proximal thumb joint not being set up to be well articulated.

This is the well articulated hand in a pose during Tristan30Neuron. Thumb looks okay, even though the exaggerated thin wrists cause some other weirdness.

This is Ethan's hand during the same pose. Thumb looks warped.

I'll try to do some further testing with the models, but I would think that the solution would be to replace Ethan with a model with really good hand rigging.
