How to remove the title option from inside xls file

1. Is it possible to remove programmatically the title from XLS/CSV file? After converting the XLS/CSV file its added a title according to the filename, top of the table.
2. Is it possible to remove programmatically the dark color from the first row and first column from the XLS/CSV table?
