show.legend has no effect on image. Can we suppress legend?

Thanks so much for a great package.

ggcorrplot(corItems, type = "lower", method="circle", lab = T, title = "", show.legend = F, sig.level = .0004, insig = "blank")

Regardless of type (i.e., F, "F", False, "False" ), legend always appears. Any way to suppress it? The numbers in the circles should suffice so I thought eliminating redundancy might be a help. Thanks greatly for all your work.
