How to use --template

Looking at the read me, I can't figure out how to add template. I want to capture to org format. but by default (not using --template) it just captures in plain text.

The language for a custom template in the README.md is a little ambiguous. You need to include the actual template that you want to use in the grasp_backend setup command. What I did was create a template file for easy editing then ran the command grasp_backend setup --path /path/to/grasp.org --template "$(cat /path/to/grasp-template.txt)". For reference, my custom template file looks like this:

:PROPERTIES:
:URL: %:link
:END:

Comments:

%:comment

Here is a reference for the possible placeholders in the template file:

Standard org placeholders:

• %U - inactive timestamp with date and time
• %u - inactive timestamp with date only
• %T - active timestamp with date and time
• %t - active timestamp with date only
• %a - annotation (link)
• %:link - URL
• %:description - page title

Grasp-specific placeholders:

• %:selection - selected text from the page
• %:comment - comment you type in the popup
• %:tags - tags you enter
