optics system for use with FLCOS displays, using commercialy available parts

The goal here is to find a good solution for designing an optics system for the use of FLCOS displays.
The main issue is the length of the system.

reference values:

• max length for System: 130 mm
• lenth for display/optics system ~80 mm

A clear image is visible when placing lenses in the following order:

FLCOS display - FLCOS display lens - [space: 0 mm] - double convex lens (f = 20...50 mm, tested) - [space: ~40 mm] - eye piece/ocular (WF10/20, tested)

Test result #1

• source: FLCOS display + preinstalled lens
• eye piece : WF10x/20
• Lens : d = 16.5 mm, F = 30 mm

conclusion:

• distance between eye piece and display is very short, good option for integration
• the picture is very small and distorted, no option to consider for integration

• source: FLCOS display + preinstalled lens
• eye piece : WF10x/20
• Lens : d = 25 mm, F = 44.5 mm

conclusion:

• distance between eye piece and display is still short enough for integration
• the picture is still a little small but has not a lot distortion, still a little small for integration
