Termtter shell: Cannot type any special characters

Hi Jugyo.

I recently upgraded to termtter 1.6.0 - and now the
termtter shell seems to ignore any german umlauts (ä, ö, ü, ß) that
I type into termtter - there's no error message or crash - there's just
nothing happening. :) I think it worked fine till somewhere around 1.4.~
Even the UTF8-characters where transmitted fine.

System: Mac OS X 10.6 w/ fish shell
