Input Recording is not storing into playback and freezing the screen

I've found this bug where when I do input recording it will do the playback even though I haven't picked the mash playback option
And then when I try to input record something else the screen will freeze

As you see in the video the CPU is playing back the recording even tho I don't have it set to playback 1.

This has happened to me twice already so I don't really know what the issue is.
