Getting error when trying to run on VS Code

Whenever I follow the readme instructions and execute the code, I get the following message on Mac:

xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun

I'm running the latest OS and all my libraries are up to date. Tried all the troubleshooting online and can't find why this is happening.
