Not unlocking achievements in Watch_Dogs 2

I'm trying to unlock the Achievement "It's the Final Showd0wn" from Watch_Dogs 2, however, after I check the achievement and Apply Changes nothing happens

The activity log says "It's the Final Showd0wn unlocked" but no Steam popup shows up, the achievement unchecks itself and nothing else happens.

I have tried other games and it works perfectly, so it seems to be a problem with Watch Dogs (Maybe games that use the Ubisoft Launcher, however I don't own another Ubisoft game with achievements to test it out)

Hello. The most likely cause is that these are protected achievements that we're unable to interact with via Samira. This was a commonly reported issue on the original SAM on Windows as well. I have heard about solutions you might be keen to search for such as UPlay Achievements Tool on Windows. Unfortunately my knowledge of that only goes that far and I'm not able to assist with this for now.
