Doesn't work for me.

Microsoft Windows have opted to disable the way applications have to control colors and positions of characters in the terminal since the early nineties, in its default terminal application (cmd)

The code works on any terminal with ANSI codes enabled - I think the new terminal microsoft made available through the Windows store (called just "terminal") can handle this.

I won't close the issue - if someone offers code that makes optional use of the "colorama" lib so that it can work on windows cmd, I could merge it - but this is not on my priority queue.

(About Python Idle: it is not a proper terminal - so it won't accept ANSI output - the application would hav to be re-written to generate its effects using tkinter - this would be another app, completly)
