Change position of equation numbers to the right hand side of the equaiton

Overview

I was able to number the equations in the "Mathematical Description and Applications" section, but the equation numbers appear above the equation. I would like for the numbers to appear to the right of the equation like a typical LaTeX document (and all other documents and books I've seen). See the screenshot below for an example.
