Local/Express lines don't stay together

When trying to set up a line with both local/express services, express lines don't stay with the local lines. Example:

This happens a lot and I find it annoying. Sadly I don't think there's a fix for this. What I do is use pins to neaten up the lines. So for example in your map, place multiple pins along the blue/orange line and make it seem like it runs with the green line. There would definitely be a fix for this if there was a way to add multiple lines to one pin.
