Figure out automated testing

There's enough complexity in FD now that it's really worth setting up a more formal mechanism for testing usage scenarios that "running it on a few of my local projects." Ideally this would include an easy means to run at least a basic suite of tests against simple project structures (a basic app, a basic recursive dependency scenario at least) and some Github actions to verify that everything still runs successfully.
