Description
need a type of jump mechanic that can move ships within the same game world, and optionally a smaller scale version that can be used for encounters triggered by a button that jumps a grid 100 metres or such to free it from a voxel and drains all the batteries
- Relocate grid to x y z
- Relocate player to x y z if no grid
- bump grid forward 100-1000 metres depleate batteries overload reactors (set fire to jump drives? or batteries?)
- /override command for bump, visual glitches, warning messages explode sound
- bump applies random horizontal spin on arrival
- way to flag a button to trigger override behavior and also cancel
- update /depart logic for internal jumps too
- optionally add server side departure points for same server travel (ie nav haz white hole logic)
- Admin /hop command to test directional teleports of player or controlled grid
maybe have override/button as an arming command (play spin up stage of jump sound) then /confirm (when seated)
override only works on station grids. bump command may need to convert to ship on arrival
damage (set fire to, do % etc) logic should probably be dedicated sub for use in other areas, define type (eg battery thruster random etc)
