About pl3 building

I have installed cygwin,but i still cant understand the toolchain part....I have to install ps3 sdk 1.92?Is it working with psl1ght?Can anyone give a step by step guide please?If this requires ps3 sdk,how can i instal it in my linux-box?I have arch linux..If you can provide a tutorial for linux too,i ll be much appreciated..

I was able to compile the PL3 with ooPo's PS3 Toolchain. If you look at howtos to build Psl1ght, you can get more information on how to build the toolchain.
