Can I disable automatic launcher icon usage on Android 12+ when no image is provided?

On Android 12 and above, when no image is provided, the system automatically displays the app’s launcher icon by default.
There seems to be no option to disable this behavior, and the launcher icon always appears as a fallback.
Is there any way to prevent the system from using the launcher icon when no image is specified?

I found a way to hide the icon, I don't know if it's a good approach though.

1. Create a transparent.xml file under android/app/src/res/drawable/ with below content:

<shape xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">
    <size android:width="1dp" android:height="1dp"/>
    <solid android:color="@android:color/transparent"/>
</shape>

2. Add below line to the values-night-v31/styles.xml and values-v31/styles.xml:

<item name="android:windowSplashScreenAnimatedIcon">@drawable/transparent</item>
