Codebox "tagcloud" does nothing

When installed and activated the plugin and when added a codebox with the text tagcloud like described in the manual, nothing happens. 

There just stayes a codebox and nothing else will appear.

I checked if I did something wrong and I also copied all the code for the code box from the manual and pasted it but nothing did appear at any time.
