Deployment and packaging?

I'm evaluating this project as a method of displaying HTML reports from my application.  I currently develop in Linux, and cross-compile to `x86_64-pc-windows-gnu` for distribution.  What is the recommended approach to creating a distributable package (e.g. can application binaries be obtained without using `cargo install`)?
