No success with post-fm on OS X 10.9.2

Hi, on OS X I'm trying to get post-fm to work with cmus.

Assuming some form of libwww-perl was already on OS X, I tried just doing these steps:

chmod +x /usr/local/bin/post-fm.pl

(Editing post-fm.pl to include my last.fm username and password)

cmus

:set status_display_program=/usr/local/bin/post-fm.pl
:save

then quit and restarted cmus - but no indication from last.fm on my profile that I had scrobbled a song, after playing one through entirely.

Then tried doing sudo port install p5.12-libwww-perl and running cmus again, and checking my profile after playing a whole song, but to no avail.

Has anyone had any success with running post-fm on OS X 10.9.2? Thanks!
