It will not be updated because the July 2020 version is the last official version.
However, some unofficial version is still updated, like PvZ 2 GOTY PAK.
This unofficial version adds more things, such as the packets of the Zombies as packets of the Plants, the watering animate of Plants in Zen Garden, the real explode-o-nut that can be used in normal levels, etc.
