Installing exorsim in w10 WSL Ubuntu - real quick

First download the latest exorsim-master.zip, example here is rev 8
unpack it onto a folder on your desktop and read on:

The path to your ubuntu desktop.

setting up wsl linux.txt

And it comes to life

exorsim under w10 WSL Ubuntu.txt

Thanks to jhallen and crestr1 for the recent iteration, updates, and floppy restoration suggestions. As a long time user of the exorsim these changes are coming at a perfect time as I'm now restoring my fiddly 8" exordisk I and exordisk II units and controllers that are part of my 6800 first gen exorciser. The enhanced exorsim will aid in restoration of my physical hardware and own data recovery efforts. Nice also to have the 1.2 exbug rom support.

Gave up on using WSL2 and Ubuntu and have gone back to Cygwin. Needed to be able to simply get exorsim related information and individual files from backup files.
Under Cygwin my Acronis backups of all my exorsim related files are restoreable at an individual file level with a few windows mouse clicks on the backups.
