Duration setting

ISS Detection has the option for time to display the notification. Can the same feature be added for Jet Detection? Often it disappears before you can read all the information.

Yes good idea. Requires some thinking about as currently the notification persists for the duration that the aircraft is within detection distance. So increasing the range in app settings will allow the notification to persist for longer.

Thanks, I will try a larger radius. All of my notifications seem about the same time, but they must just be planes briefly entering and exiting the radius.

With a large radius many planes would be there simultaniously. How is this handled?

It will always show the nearest plane by distance (that fits the altitude / FOV etc filters), so increasing the radius will just increase the time that a plane is shown (as long as it remains the nearest plane to you). Let me know how you get on

Makes sense. I was not sure how it handled it. Increasing the radius worked well, plenty of planes. Having a timer option still might be nice, as now its often not on the clock at all. Or maybe add a digital time option to the plane info screen, so you can still glance at it for the time.
