Great idea - hadn’t thought about a secondary zone but no reason that couldn’t be part of it. In the next release there will be additional filtering options including airline, origin/destination, altitude priority, and the ability to cycle through nearby aircraft rather than just showing the closest. I'll have a think about how best to include additional zones - your use case makes a lot of sense esp as I also live under several flight paths and only have one programmed in at the moment! |

I have views of two separate flight paths. Effectively most of the planes that are shown on my JetClock are for Heathrow approach, which goes over my house. For this I only need about five miles range in certain directions, making sure that I do not pick up the planes approaching from the southerly direction, which I cannot see. As it is now this works well.
But there is another sort of flight I can see. Those at high altitude crossing London at 30,000 feet, which I can see a lot further away. 10 - 15 miles at least.
It would be good id we could set a “secondary” detection parameter that would show where nothing is close at the lower altitudes.
For me effectively:
Primary - Low and close
Secondary - High and far
Although that would be entirely configurable.
