Description
Following the upgrade from 12.0 -> 12.2.1, 2 of my 4 libreElec installs would freeze and require power cycling to function. Upon extensive troubleshooting, this begins happening as soon as the JellyCon add-on is configured. This was confirmed on a fresh install from the img when the jellycon add-on was the only thing added. This worked prior to the latest upgrade. This only happened on both my identical x86 boxes (Trycoo WI-6) but did NOT happen on libreelec for raspberry pi, same version. I cannot confirm if this is an issue with Kodi or LibreElec comparability, but the steps below are my testing environment.
To Reproduce
- Install fresh "LibreElec 12.2.1 (Generic) on an x86 PC
- Install the Kodi Jellyfin repository with these steps: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/clients/kodi/#install-add-on-repository
- Add the "JellyCon" add-on and configure it
- Wait for device to stop responding over ssh and usb input
Expected behavior
Device doesn't freeze
