Reels still accessible via “Blend” (Friends / Groups) in latest release

Hi 👋
First of all, thanks for building and maintaining FeurStagram - it’s been working great overall and I really appreciate the project.

I’ve been using the latest release APK for about 2 weeks.
Initially, Reels blocking worked as expected. However, after some time of usage, I noticed that Reels are still accessible through “Blend” (friends / group blends).

Expected Behavior

• Reels content should be fully blocked or redirected (as designed), regardless of entry point — including Blend, friends, or group-based surfaces.

Actual Behavior

• Reels can still be watched when accessed via Blend of friends or groups, even though:
• Feed posts are blocked
• Explore is blocked
• Reels tab redirects to DMs

Steps to Reproduce

• Install the latest FeurStagram release APK
• Use the app normally for some time
• Open a Blend (friends or group Blend)
• Tap on Reels content
• Reels play normally instead of being blocked or redirected

Additional Notes

It seems like Blend may be using a different endpoint or fragment path than the main Reels tab, so it might not be covered by the current redirect or network blocking rules.

You’re right, that this is most likely related to Blend using a different surface / endpoint than the main Reels tab.

Unfortunately, on my side, I don’t actually have access to the Blend feature yet — Instagram is rolling it out progressively, and it’s not enabled on my account at the moment. Because of that, I can’t currently inspect or test how Reels are exposed through Blend, which makes it hard to properly block or redirect them for now.

As soon as my account gets access to Blends, I plan to look into this and adapt the patches accordingly.

I could have asked you to help by collecting logs via adb while interacting with Blends (that’s how I found the patches for FeurStagram), but in practice this usually requires multiple trial-and-error runs. It’s much simpler to do directly on my own device, and it could also potentially expose personal or sensitive information about your account, which I’d rather avoid.

In the meantime, I’m absolutely open to (and encourage!) PRs if someone already has access to Blends and wants to investigate or propose a fix. Any help on this would be very welcome :)
