Missing Vyatta directory #1

Many thanks for creating these scripts.
I have a USG and have successfully configured a VPN and really wanted to get the alerting your have built. I was able to follow your instructions and upload the scripts to my USG however the script is failing on execution. On inspection I do not seem to have the directory: /opt/vyatta/etc/functions/ at all. In fact /opt is empty Am I missing some obvious prep step?
