OSNAP requires requirements.txt which requires some dependency

For very simple programs there may be no external requirements. In that case OSNAP still requires that requirements.txt be present. If the file is empty, which it should be, we get an error from pip about an empty file

OK. Since onsap was for 'clients' (Win PC/Mac) I assumed there would be some sort of GUI package used, but you're right you don't have to use any external packages. I'll make this mod.

Thanks, I’m still working on getting a dev area on windows set up so I can start submitting pull requests. For now I’m thinking we’re going to use OSNAP for our next project, so it makes sense for us to be prepared to contribute back
