- Pi recognizes that the port is there
- Pi cannot initiate anything that is plugged in, it says to "check the USB cable."
Probably due to the differential stuff not being right (I never checked for 90 ohm), but this port was literally to "sanity check" or provide a backup. Thankfully, the original port seems to work fine, so no harm no foul.
Either:
- Fix the port when you learn how to use kicad better
- Remove the port because it's inaccessible inside the box anyway
