Running the code

I do not understand why when I run the code on visual studio code I have the following issues:

1. when i click on the amount of chips i want to play with the website 'reloads' and does not add any chips.
2. When i click play, nothing happens
3. When i click reset or any other button nothing happens
4. Some logo and icons are misplaced

As a beginner in coding I am not sure what to do. Any help would be very helpful
