Nature requires sans-serif either Helvetica or Ariel for all figures. The size needs to be set explicitly. It would be useful to set the figure size from the command line, as well as the ability to use this font set. Unfortunately it's not as simple as changing the font family in beagle_utils as it needs to be using the r'blah$\lambda$' format rather than "$\textnormal{blah}\uplambda$" format
