Image does not boot on Raspberry 3B Ver. 2 (2015)

I have flashed the image https://files.jacktrip.org/images/jacktrip-rpi-20210214.zip using rpi-imager on Arch Linux.

Flashing Raspbian Lite with the same configuration works. But if I use this image, I only get a continuously on green LED, indicating that it can't boot.

As there is getting more and more difficult to get Raspberry Pi 4b 2GB in Germany for a reasonable price, it would be interesting, if JackTrip would also work on a 3b model. The computing power shall be sufficient. Do anyone has an idea, why the JackTrip image doesn't boot on a Raspberry 3B?

I can confirm that the image does not load on a RPi3B+
