Unusable UI; needs config option for tk scaling

The UI is unusably small. Allowing a couple of font choices is helpful but insufficient. The app needs a configuration option for tk scaling so that the user can scale the entire UI.

My stance on this is that it shouldn't be the responsibility of the application to provide options to set reasonable font sizes. Tk should be made to work out of the box in a reasonable way.

That said, Gitk has gained theme support recently. Interested parties may implement a similar mechanism for Git GUI.

I've heard a similar argument about applications not being responsible for other things (e.g., their main window size & pos.). Personally, I take the pragmatic view that users expect applications to do certain things.

In this case I'm not talking about font size per-se but scaling the application as a whole. I provide this for every one of my applications. For a typical example of how easy it is to support application scalling see Manpager and in particular the config_form-1.tm module; search it for scal.
