My Toy JS Interpreter

Hello all, I've been doing language dev oriented projects since 2023 for fun, and I've been following the JS engine zoo for a few months. I've been working on a toy JS interpreter titled DerkJS and wanted to showcase it in this thread before I feel comfortable enough to officially post it here. Thanks for checking my post. It's my first time contributing to a bigger repo. 😄

Quick Details:

• Target (unofficial goal): small subset of ES5 without ASI, eval, and Unicode strings
• Language: C++23 (module-based)
• SLOC via tokei: around 9.1K
• Binary size via wc -c, : around 530 KB
• Runtime: stack-based bytecode VM
• Time: Dec 21, 2025 - ongoing
• I've used a toy test suite from the start.
