classifier

I am trying to make the example in wiki, one I have installed PATO I try to run classifier and I get the following error

species <- classifier(files,n_cores = 20,type = 'prot')
Error in file_list[, 1] : incorrect number of dimensions

Any help would be great

Hi Ana.

Yes. you have to transform the "files" to a data.frame.

files <- files %>% as.data.frame()
species <- classifier(files,n_cores = 20,type = 'prot')

What OS are you using?. Several functions of PATO does not work in Windows systems.

Hi Thanks for your response. Actually, I do pangenome a lot , While studying some paper I found PATO very interesting I started using it but in the start, the classifier was not working OS limited, So I am seeking your guidance on How can I fully utilize the PATO . Thanks
