Minimal python version supported?

The documentation does not mention what is the minimal python version supported.

Could this be added?

For what it's worth, the tox.ini file shows that testing is done against Python 2.7, and Python 3.3+:

envlist = py27,py33,py34,py35,py36

Presumably later versions of 3.x will work, but the tox.ini just hasn't been updated for those yet.
