How to enable support for .astro files?

Is it possible to somehow add support for Astro files or expand the appearance of auto-completions in other extensions?

When would you use Alpine.js with Astro?

Astro is rendered server side like html, twig or php, so the use case for astro is the same as for any of those languages.
Astro even has an official integration for alpine.

I would really love to see this work.
