Thank you for providing this useful tool! I have a question regarding the calculation of Rauch indices in the function get_proddiff.
Specifically, I noticed the description:"The get_proddiff function concords users' input codes to SITC2 codes and then extracts the corresponding Rauch classifications."
While the function allows users to set prop = "n", prop = "r", or prop = "w" to return the proportion of "w", "r", or "n" in the resulting vector of Rauch indices, I couldn’t find a detailed explanation of how Rauch indices are computed or derived from Rauch (1999).
Could you provide clarification on: The exact method used to compute Rauch indices. I reviewed Rauch (1999) but couldn’t locate detailed descriptions of the calculations. Any clarification or resources would be greatly appreciated!
