Problems with arguments running Exchange from the UI

When trying the code in 01 InfoWorks ICM/01 Ruby/01 InfoWorks/0042 - Running an Exchange script from the UI I run the into the following two issues thath I am not sure if it is related with my operation system config:

• files address need to have "\" instead of ""
• Arguments ARGV[0] and ARGV[1]are always "SDK" and "ICM" so the receiving code must start with ARGV[2]

These are issues with the Autodesk version of Exchange, that script script is probably for the older versions of Exchange running under legacy (Innovyze) licenses.

When you use ICMExchange.exe (Autodesk) you no longer need to add 'ICM' to the arguments, because it handles that for you and passes everything to iexchange.exe (the old Exchange executable). The Autodesk version is basically a wrapper around the old Exchange executable. ARGV[0] will still be reserved, but your arguments will start from ARGV[1].

The file paths are a problem with how ICMExchange.exe passes arguments to the original executable. It should only be a problem where there are spaces in the filepath, or you can add an extra escaped quote like you've done. I've reported this as a bug but I don't know if/when they'll be able to fix it.
