Hard coded paths

generic.py includes two hard-coded paths, one to "c:" and one to "d:"
On *nix boxes, you can imagine what that means.
This repo is called by some experimental projects which use LLMs in NLP research.
I have no idea how to resolve this issue. Open to ideas.

The issue refers to:

I guess that should be solved through the config file setup.cfg but I'll leave it to the experts to decide how to best carry that through.

I think that section of the file should just be removed altogether. It's just leftover debugging code (load the embeddings, query them, see what embeddings look like) and does not belong there anymore. The file is not meant to be called as a standalone script.
