I know is strange... in viewController -> - (void)getRGBAsFromImage:(UIImage*)image you'll see this lines of code:

jsStr = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"readImgBuffer('%@', %lu);",str, str.length];

The second line calls javasscript in video.html to pass the video buffer. I noticed that the length of the buffer changed depending on how much "change" was happening in front of the lens. "str.length" is the length of the buffer. That's where the "rightsize" parameter of readImgBuffer comes from. I did not look further into this because any further correctons would make things very slow. A way to fix this would be to convert the image into an iplImage (OpenCV image data type) and then using that. That conversion os slow though, so you need to decide...

Querying the buffer segments(horizontal, vertical) that you need seems better and should be really easy to implement based on what I have given you
