git pull CLI-method does not update local master #20

Description

In the RStudio workflow, the following can be read (under option 1B):

Update the topic branch to make sure is is aligned with the remote master:
In the Git shell, type:

git pull origin master

Having the topic branch checked out, this effectively results in:

  • origin/master being fetched
  • new commits in origin/master being merged into the local topic branch

However, it does not update the local master branch, which may cause some confusion or caveats. Updating the local master branch would need a git checkout master followed by git pull (can be done through the RStudio GUI).

I suggest to mention more explicitly that that is not done by the provided command. Or, perhaps, shortly refer to the extra steps needed to do that (it can be done with the first steps of option 1A).
