@reginabuehler, let's look into this, when @knarfnitram is back form vacation.

@sbrandstaeter, for now, there are no concrete plans to provide centralized installations of Kokkos and KokkosKernels on our cluster. Both frameworks can be installed by users from source, if they need it.

The current assessment might change, if use cases for MIRCO change. So. let's keep this issue open for now to keep track of the topic.

I think the work to get Trilinos running with the OpenMP back-end is extremely minimal, just basically just changing one CMake option. I can't comment on how beneficial that is of course.

@maxfirmbach I agree that the changes to the Trilinos configuration are minimal. Providing it as a preinstalled library to everybody on the cluster puts additional effort on the cluster admin team. Before going that route, I want to be sure that there are enough users and user cases.
