Compile in Fedora

Is there a way to mak ethis compile in fedora. I tried switching "apt" for "dnf" but it wouldnt work. I got an orion 2 with the F15e grip today and would like to get it working.

TGRIP-15E support may not work correctly, I don't have that grip for testing...

Thank you I'll try. In on kernel 6.10.10 so I was hoping it was built in. strangely my grip buttons work fine. It's just every button and switch from the AA/AG down that doesn't work at all

The module included in kernel 6.10 only supports TGRIP-18 and TGRIP-16EX.
The GitHub project now has some experimental support for TGRIP-15E, but I don't have that grip for testing.

i can confirm the F15E does work, i run exclusively on fedora. however i believe the code at this time may require some changes to work as per discussions in #2

Maybe stupid question but there is no explanation to be found: How to actually do this? Fedora just says those are all fine and yet the hotas does not work as intended.

The throttle model is F15e/ex. I have issue with the buttons on the base not working as well.

You can add F15EX throttle Device ID to the table of supported USB devices inside the source code.
All buttons on the base will work, but many on the handle will not because number of button codes is still limited to 80.

My issue was rather that the instructions to build your driver is just to type in make into the terminal and it doesn't show all the other stuff step by step. I am struggling with that part rather.
I'm assuming you mean

1. add device ID into source code
2. compile it?
