What browsers do we wish to support?

If we wish to support older browsers or to use more cutting-edge JavaScript a solution like https://polyfill.io would get us at least a good portion of the way without requiring a build process. However, it would require that the end user always have internet access. Is that a safe assumption?

No need to worry about old browsers for now - if we need to polyfill, we can add that later.
