Using python with arx

To write python script that uses Arx:

1. first install jython e.g. in ubuntu

         `sudo apt install jython`
   

2. import Arx libraries in your code as follows:

          `import os, sys`
          `# note: you only need this jar file for the API, so you can move it toa different folder in your app`
          `sys.path.append("./path_to/arx/jars/libarx-3.9.1.jar")`
          `from java.io import File`
          `from java.nio.file import Files, Paths`
          `from java.nio.charset import StandardCharsets`
          `from org.deidentifier.arx import ARXAnonymizer, AttributeType, ARXConfiguration, Data, DataHandle, ARXResult`
          `import org.deidentifier.arx`
          `from org.deidentifier.arx.criteria import KAnonymity`
          `from org.deidentifier.arx.metric import Metric`
          `# Create an instance of the Arx anonymizer`
          `anonymizer = ARXAnonymizer()`
          `print("=============================================")`
          `print("    Data Anonymization using Arx " + anonymizer.VERSION)`
          `print("=============================================")`
   

3. run jython as follow:

          ` jython yourPyathonScript.py`
