Text rendering very pale and hard to read (poor contrast) in 'light mode'

On a white background/black text terminal (iTerm2 on macOS) the colour used for labels is very pale. For example:

See the values under 'Agent Config' - the text is hard to read.

In dark mode the contrast is fine.
